NEW MINI CLASS – Excuse Me, Your Life is Waiting.
Join us for the new mini class, which is based on the book, Excuse Me, Your Life is Waiting, by Lynn Grabhorn. We meet one night per week for 3 weeks.
In the class we will be talking about the astonishing power of feelings and how we co-create our reality by what we focus on and think about, and the kinds of vibrations we back it up with. If you have dreams – and who doesn’t – then stop waiting and get a life!
Excuse Me, Your Life Is Waiting is an inspiring and empowering book filled with humor, insight and personal experience, as well as a plethora of examples of how people have used feelings to get the things they truly dream of. The author cautions us against wanting things in the wrong way, showing us tips and techniques for truly visioning and using our thoughts and emotions to put the right kind of energy behind our desires.
This class is held on Thursdays – November 2, 9, 16 – from 6:30-8:30pm.

THE ESSENTIAL ERNEST HOLMES
This course is a loving tribute to Dr. Ernest Holmes and all the wisdom he brought to our world. The course is based upon “What We Believe.” During the course, students have the opportunity to examine each of the ideas contained in it and uncover ways to make the power of this teaching come alive in her/his life. Each week has a meditation on Light that takes the student progressively deeper and deeper into the Light to find Inner Truth.
Ernest Holmes’ love of people and his ability to see past their problems into the heart of their eternal being, blends modern psychology with humankind’s limitless ability to choose what to think. This course enables students to understand this on a new level and therefore make changes in their lives.

PRACTITIONER STUDIES PROGRAM
Practitioner Training Year 1: 30 week course (September – May)
The first year of Professional Practitioner Studies is devoted to self-awareness and healing where necessary. The year is divided into three terms, consisting of ten weeks each, with studies focused in the following areas: Term 1 – How Life Gets to Be the Way It Is, Term 2 – Living a Life of Choice, Term 3 – Living Life Fully. Each term will include treatment, meditation, reading, writing, journaling, experiential activities, a term paper, and a final examination.
In order to be eligible for entry into the Professional Practitioner Studies Program, the student must have completed all required courses, as specified in CSL’s Policies and Procedures Manual. All certificated courses must be completed within the preceding five years of enrolling into Practitioner Studies. If more than five years has elapsed, then that course must be retaken. For example, if more than five years has elapsed since taking Foundations, the course must be retaken. No certificated course older than five years will be counted as meeting any requirement for entering Practitioner Studies.

Practitioner Training Year 2: 30 week course
The second year of professional practitioner studies is about “The Life of the Professional Practitioner.” It focuses on the consciousness, skills, and responsibilities of the Practitioner, and the relationship of the Practitioner to the Principles we teach, to the client, to the process in healing, to the spiritual center, to the community and to the world.
There is a written examination at the end of the year, which is the first step in the licensing process. Upon passing the written exam, licensing candidates proceed to an oral examination by a panel of ministers and practitioners. After successfully passing the oral examination, the individual is licensed by the United Centers for Spiritual Living. The individual is then ready to serve as a licensed Professional Practitioner for their spiritual community. They are also licensed to conduct private spiritual coaching sessions as an established business for themselves.
A license is valid for two years. Licenses are then renewed every two years upon validation of 250 hours of service, referred to as Continuing Licensing Units (CLU’s) and 35 hours of Continuing Education Units (CEU’s).
